-The Storyline-


The story of our land, called Ilusia, is one that is never to be forgotten by Ilusians. Upon seeing this beautiful land a goddess known as Celestia became inspired by the land's beauty and shifted the world to fit her will. However...

Soon Celestia realized the error she had made by creating humans and with them "Free Will." By allowing her creations to do as she pleased, she soon watched them tear each other asunder in conquests. It was because of this that the entity pulled two parts of herself out in order to help govern the world.

Celestia, the Goddess of Creation.

Fiore, the God of Darkness.

Lief, the Goddess of Light.

With these three entities working together, the history of Ilusia was shaped. A great war, however, slowly began to grow between the nations of the land until everything seemed lost. No one remembers who began the war or what happened, but it is known that only through divine intervention that it came to an end. The power of the three deities of the land saved the entire world.

Years pass. The war, with it's details only known to the Royal Family, have been forgotten. No one knows what happened all those years ago. In Ilusia, guilds have been formed to protect various secrets, whether it be those of mages or those of clerics. Different orders and factions take residence around to protect their own secrets.

Celestia, Fiore, and Lief seem to have disappeared from the memory of the people, becoming nothing more then fairy tales of the past.

The stream of time never ceases. It ebbs and flows without consideration for anything that is affected by it. Life progresses and moves on, as it always does, until legends and stories become nothing but the fragments of memories. But, if there is no one left to tell those tales, then who will be there to warn the future?

History repeats itself often...

In the land of Ilusia, things are not always as they appear. Even after a century after the great war, there is still turmoil in parts of the realm. Many are happy and content while others suffer silently in fear to speak out to disturb the balance of the land.

The King, Karsten Vasilios Ilusia, cares immensely for the struggles of his people. In his mind they are the most important things in the world. He does his best every day to help his people face life to the best of their abilities, but the steady decline has managed to discourage even the sole source of strength.

The Knights of Ilusia, lead by Crown Prince Lucian Soterios Ilusia, have formed in order to protect the people. It is their duty to serve and protect, becoming the essence of Ilusian strength. Many become knights in order to take care of their family – none are ever forced.

On the other side of the Knights, the Keepers of the Realm, those who practice magick, are led by Crown Princess Lycoris Daphne Ilusia. These are the ones who call upon the powers of the land and the ways of old, bidding themselves to the laws of magick and good. Or...most do...

However...

There is some who do remember the old ways. Some who do know of the old legends. Some who do know that history is beginning to repeat itself...some who believe that the Dark God, Fiore, and the Light Goddess, Lief, were the cause of the great war that took place, the classic struggle between good and evil, and some even believe Celestia sealed them away to prevent another war from occurring. But, is it possible to stop a revival of Darkness and Light?

When that time comes, what side will you be on?
